Grenade was launched in 2010 by founders Alan and Juliet Barratt after their work within the distribution section of the sports nutrition industry. They found that the market was saturated with a wide variety of products and this made it hard for customers to know any information about individual products and which ones were actually good for them. And so, Grenade was born. The company’s mission was to ‘create an iconic weight-loss product and become the IT brand within Sports Nutrition’. They achieved this and have continued to develop their brand, products and flavours. Expanding across over 80 countries and changing the protein bar market in the UK. Grenade continues to grow.
